The engine generates 192 horsepower, allowing the Sonata Hybrid to achieve 45 miles through the city, 51 mpg on the highway and 47 mpg combined. However, the Blue trim level improves those numbers to 50/54/52 mpg respectively, meaning that the Sonata Hybrid Blue delivers best-in-class highway and combined fuel economy ratings.
